Little Buck and the
Miracle of Compound Interest A Financial Bedtime Fable for Kids (and a Few Adults)
The author, having raised his own five children and now with eleven grandchildren, feels it is never to early to teach children the value of saving money. This little tome is a children’s story about the adventures of a dollar named "Little Buck." It teaches the principle of compound interest using simply described financial vocabulary and terms that can be learned in childhood and remembered throughout life. Parents, sitting down at bedtime with their children, can read the story together, stopping along the way to talk about money and explain the sound financial principles presented. With simple illustrations, this little book can teach even the very young the importance of managing money, even if they begin with only pennies. It might also serve as a fun and simple refresher course for a few adults as well.
